LoveBird

My name is Katie and I am a Brisbane-based artist with a passion for all things animal. My paintings started out as a hobby, inspired by my two dogs Harry and Lola. From there I was asked by friends and family to create potraits of their beloved pets, which brings me to where I am now.

This year my life has been turned upside down - in good way, of course! In April I gave birth to my son Oliver and decided I won't be returning to my office job just yet. Although I am on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, I am enjoying being a mum and all the associated ups and downs that are thrown my way.

I share a house with my husband, my two dogs, two chooks, a pet rat, a few fish and the skin kid. So far, we are all living together in harmony (most of the time).
